Insurance Coverage

Insurance coverage is different and varies with each company and policy.
We accept Cigna, Lovelace, New Mexico Health Connections, Presbyterian, and United Health Insurances.

Patients are responsible for any yearly co-insurance, per-visit co-pay and/or amounts not covered by their insurance plan. Payment of such amounts will be collected at the time when services are rendered.

*As an exclusive benefit to all State of New Mexico employees, we offer a THREE treatment policy for the amount of a single co-pay.

We will submit all charges to your insurance company promptly following the time the charges are incurred as a free service to all of our patients.

Don’t Have Insurance or Your Plan Doesn’t Cover Naprapathy?

We offer a great “out of network” plan for anyone seeking our services who is NOT covered by insurance. Please see our “Managed Care Plan” page for further details.

Do I Need a Doctor’s Referral?

If you are a New Mexico State employee covered with either Lovelace or Presbyterian, no referral is needed.

For all others, we have had success with patients who do not have naprapathy as a listed benefit in their plans using a written prescription or referral from the patient’s primary care physician. While no coverage is guaranteed with a written prescription or referral, our office will work with you, your primary care doctor and your insurance company to get you covered if at all possible.

If you have any questions concerning insurance our office staff can assist you.

Personal Injury/Motor Vehicle Accidents

All patients that have been involved in a motor vehicle accident causing personal injury will be asked to fill out the necessary documents regarding their injury. Patients are responsible for providing the necessary insurance information that pertains to the injury (insurance company name, address, adjuster’s name, telephone number, and claim number, police reports, etc). Our office will verify through the insurance carrier if the claim has been reported.

Workers’ Compensation

All patients that have been involved in a work-related injury will be asked to fill out the necessary documents regarding their injury. Patients are responsible for providing the necessary insurance information that pertains to the injury (insurance company name, address, adjuster’s name, telephone number, and claim number). Our office will bill the insurance company directly for all services rendered. We will also verify through the employer if the injury was reported to the manager and/or supervisor as well as the workers’ compensation insurance carrier.
